What we collect

When you sign in we receive your email address and display name from our identity provider (signin.ounie.com). When you send a handoff we store the request you created — the channel, the recipient address or chat id you supplied, the subject and message, the choices you offered, who you said was asking, the deadline, the credit reservation and settlement, and the answer if one comes back.

The people you send requests to

A recipient does not have an account here and we do not create one for them. We hold the address or chat id you gave us so we can deliver the message, and the choice they made so you can read it back. We do not build a profile of them, do not contact them for anything other than the request you sent, and do not store an IP address, device fingerprint, or location from the decision page. The page sets no cookie and runs no JavaScript.

You are responsible for having a legitimate reason to message the person you name in a request.

Decision links

Each request carries two secrets: the one-time link the human uses, and the poll key your agent reads with. Both are 256 bits of random data and only their SHA-256 digests are stored — the raw values exist in the delivered message and the API response, and nowhere else. They are never written to a log. Decision pages are served no-store, marked noindex, and sent with Referrer-Policy: no-referrer so the link cannot leak to any site it points at.

What we don't collect

We don't track you across the web. There are no third-party analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no session replay. We don't sell or share the content of your requests, and nothing you write here is used to train any model.

Processors

Messages are delivered by our email provider (Resend) and, for the Telegram channel, by Telegram itself. Both necessarily see the recipient and the message body — that is what delivery is. Data is stored in our shared Ounie Neon database. Payments and credits are handled by ounie.com; no card details ever reach this app.

Retention

Requests are kept so you have an audit trail of who decided what and when. Ask us to delete yours and we will, along with the addresses attached to them.
